Girls volleyball team improves to 11-1

The girls volleyball team continued its outstanding season by extending its win streak to five matches with a 3-0 win over Lowell Monday night.

The Hillies improved to 11-1 on the season and officially qualified for the MIAA playoffs. The team will travel to Rhode Island this weekend for the Rhody Invitational.


Golf team earns playoff spot

The Hillie golfers also clinched a spot in the MIAA playoffs.

They edged Billerica 11-9, and then avenged an early season loss to Central Catholic with a 14-6 win over the Raiders. The Hillies are 9-3 with three matches remaining.


Boys soccer team hits the road

The boys soccer team is still in the playoff hunt.

Haverhill is 5-4-1 after a 2-0 loss to undefeated North Andover. The Hillies travel to Tewksbury on Saturday and Lawrence on Tuesday.


Girls soccer team to host Central

The girls soccer team got back in the win column with a 2-0 victory over Lowell.

The Hillies' record is now 4-6. The Hillies host Central Catholic on Thursday afternoon.


Cross country teams in action

The cross country teams hosted a tri-meet at Winnekenni Park on Wednesday.

The Hillie girls split with Billerica and Central Catholic, while the Hillie boys dropped both meets. The Haverhill teams will be in action at Methuen on Wednesday.


Crew teams continue to improve

The crew teams rowed in the prestigious Textile Regatta race at UMass Lowell over the weekend and continued to improve.

The Hillie boys first 8 was the top finisher, placing 14th with a time of 17.03.


Football team to face Lawrence 

The football team came close to knocking off undefeated Methuen, but came up just short.

The Hillies fell to the Rangers 19-17 at the annual homecoming game. The Hillies will travel to Lawrence Saturday for a noon kickoff.
