Girls volleyball team improves to 6-0

It was one of the biggest wins in recent memory for the girl's volleyball program.

In a battle of undefeated teams last Friday, the Hillies beat Lawrence by a score of 3-1. The Hillies avenged their season-ending loss to the Lancers in the second round of last year’s playoffs. With the win, Haverhill improved to 6-0.

 

Hillie golf team takes 4 straight

The golf team reeled off its fourth straight win, defeating Chelmsford 14-6 last Friday.

The Hillies are now 5-1 and take on Central Catholic, Dracut and Methuen this week.

 

Girls swim team to host North Andover

The Hillies girl swim team will return to action Friday, hosting North Andover at the Charles C. White Pool at Haverhill High.

The Hillie girls recently suffered their first loss of the year, dropping a meet to Andover 95-79. 

 

Cross country teams heads to Rhode Island

The cross country teams split with Chemlsford in their first home meets of the year last week.

The girls team took down the Lions by a score of 44-15 while the boys team fell 39-20. Both teams will travel to Rhode Island this weekend for the Ocean State Meet.

 

Boys soccer team on winning streak

The boys soccer team put together a three-game win streak with victories over Tewksbury, Lawrence and Dracut.

The Hillies will be on the road this week at Methuen and Billerica.

 

Girls soccer team snaps losing streak

The girls soccer team snapped a three-game losing streak with a 7-0 win over Malden.

The team returns to action at Lowell Tuesday.

 

Football team away against Westford

The football team fell to 0-2 after suffering a 21-7 loss at home to Chelmsford.

The Hillies will travel to Westford for a noon kickoff on Saturday.

 

Crew team to compete Saturday

The crew team will compete in its first race of the fall on Saturday morning.

The Hillies will take on Methuen at the Essex Rowing Club.
