The Boys & Girls Club's basketball and floor hockey leagues are in full swing at holiday time.

MAJOR LEAGUE FLOOR HOCKEY, WEEK 3
Dawns Here and Maria’s Restaurant, both with perfect records of 20-0, finally played each other.
From the start, Dawns Here took advantage by taking Maria’s Restaurant’s strengths away and holding Malachi Kitchens to only 2 goals. Peter Grillo of Dawns Here had a game-high 4 goals, helping his team to an 8-4 victory.
Servpro vs. Don Wilson was an evenly matched contest.
With Don Wilson up 8-7 with only 3.2 seconds left on the clock, Shawn Frasca of Servpro scored the game-tying goal right off the faceoff to force the game into overtime. In overtime, Brody Winchell of Servpro scored the game-winning goal to beat Don Wilson 9-8.
MINOR LEAGUE FLOOR HOCKEY
TJS Metals vs. Choice Fitness featured some outstanding play by Choice Fitness' Ryan Carlson, who had a game-high 10 goals as he almost single-handedly won the game his team.
Choice Fitness took the victory, 11-3.
Don Wilson vs. Fantini Bakery was a well-matched game.
It went back and forth with great defense and neither team scoring a goal in the first period. Eventually, Fantini Bakery’s Ivan Oviedo found his groove, ending up with 5 goals to lead his team to a 5-2 victory.
MAJOR LEAGUE BASKETBALL
T-Stop and Upscale Cutz went head to head in this nail-biter of a game.
The efforts of Upscale’s Jaiden Cruz (12 points) and Xavier Fortin (13 points) weren't enough to match T-Stop’s Adriel Rosa’s 16 points and teammate Alfreiny Soreano’s 13 points. T-Stop won the game, 40-36.
Humble Truth vs. Early Contractors was a game that featured high emotion.
With friends battling each other on the court, this game went to the wire. Both teams scored in the paint at will. Early Contractors had the lead until its big man, Yasiel Torres (14 points), fouled out of the game and left it up to teammate Julius Urbaez (19 points) to pick up the slack. With an advantage at that point, Humble Truth came roaring back with Jeremiah Lugo putting up 26 points. Humble Truth went on to win, 48-41.
Krispy Clean Kicks vs. Choice Fitness was a great contest.
Choice Fitness flowed well in transition, gaining a big lead early in the game. Krispy Clean Kicks’s Alejandro Delgado (27 points) and Angel Simpson (15 points) helped keep their team in the game, but they fell short to Choice Fitness' Javien Sapienza’s 25 points, Darnell Chin’s 12 points, and Nathaniel Vigo’s 11 points. Choice Fitness took a 55-47 victory.
